It has been some time since I last wrote a blog, I hope you are all well and living life to the full. The last few months have been my most focused in years, with new sponsorship from
DW FITNESS I have really taken my physique to the next level and improved my discipline moreso.
I visited the British Grand Prix bobdybuilding event in London this year and it was a great experience for me, I met and former Mr Olympia-Dorian Yates and many IFB pros such as Flex Lewis and Tony Freeman. Also seeing Bobby Khan compete was a great taste of things to come.
The Bodypower Expo attracts thousands of people each year offering promotions in various sports such as bodybuilding, powerlifting, boxing and MMA so it brings a very diverse crowd of fitness enthusiasts.
Every supplement label and sports product you can imagine is there along with a huge list of celebrities promoting the latest brands- we met Bobby Khan, Zack Khan (That man was bigger than Ronnie!) Gunther Schlierkamp and the world’s strongest man.
Attending seminars hosted by Ronnie Coleman and Jay Cutler had to be highlights of the day and I luckily got to take part in Q n A with both men.
I asked Ronnie infront of 1500 people which olympia title he thought he was in the best shape for and most proud of and in true Ronnie style he simply replied ‘‘Number one…YEAH BUDDY!’’ to the delight of myself and the crowd.

I bumped into Kris Gethin which was pretty cool, I recieved a signed copy of his book ‘BODY BY DESIGN’ at the Grand Prix, it was cool to meet him again and tell him how much of an impact the book had on me as it includes some very great stories about people succeeding in life and overcoming the odds. That is what this website and my work is all about so I could really relate to it.
I also entered a fitness model competition and managed to impress Saracen the gladiator! I hope to recieve a call back from them.
My next competition is coming up in the next 5 days at the NAC in Manchester. After dieting for almost 8 weeks now and feeling tired and carb depleted it was a great shot of adrenaline that I needed as it is so much easier to visualise your dreams when you are surrounded by your idols and the people you aspire to be.
I now feel more ready than ever for the 29th of May, I will be entering the ‘Mr Athletic’ Category and know I will be stepping onstage 100 percent better than last year. With the help of Paul Williams I have learnt alot about myself and what my body is capable of.
My posing, size and conditioning have all improved vastly in the last year and I know it will show when I step onstage.
Being a bodybuilder requires profound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, endocrinology, nutrition, and psychology.
I will let you know how I get on so wish me luck!!
The only way is up.
